Other Conditions:
  • The School of Social Work is establishing a lecturer pool, subject to availability of funding and actual staffing requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas of social work: Social work practice with individuals, groups, and/or communities and organizations; social welfare policy; research; human behavior and the social environment; children and families; mental health; health; gerontology; substance abuse; social work history; and general social work practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school or university plus two years of post-master’s practice experience in social work; or doctoral degree in a related field with two years post MSW experience in order to teach in practice areas.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the college level in the area of expertise; ability or interest in teaching online courses.
