Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Under general supervision, design, deliver, and assess instruction in terms of student learning outcomes of Pharmacology; develop and/or update course content and materials; use teaching strategies to meet the college's diverse students learning needs; submit annual self-assessment.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. a) Master's in Pharmacology;
  2. Pharmacist eligible for Hawaii State License. License required by effective date of employment.
  3. or
  4. b) Bachelor's in Pharmacology;
  5. 3 years related work experience;
  6. Pharmacist eligible for Hawaii State License. License required by effective date of employment.
  7. or
  8. Doctor of Pharmacology, Medicine, or Osteopathy;
  9. Eligible for Hawaii State License. License required by effective date of employment.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Evidence of ability to work in a collegial manner with peers, department chairs, and administrators; prior teaching experience, 6 months minimum.
